NBA Market Share Report: Is Tobias Harris Heating Up in Los Angeles?
Larry Nance Brings the Bounce to Cleveland
We mentioned him following the trade that sent him from Los Angeles to Cleveland, and Larry Nance Jr. has lived up to the hopeful expectation that he’d infuse the Cavs roster so far with hustle, athleticism, and length.
Over the course of his last nine games, Nance is averaging almost 33 FanDuel points per game while reaching at least five-times value in five of them and eight-times value in three of them. What’s more, Tristan Thompson is set to miss at least the next two weeks, which provides even more opportunity for Nance moving forward.
With the goods to fill up a stat line and the Cavs statistically better (a positive net rating of 15.2) with Nance on the floor, even a rising salary following his movement in rotation shouldn’t cause hesitation. He’s an exciting lineup piece more than capable of not only returning value, but cracking the top-five as a producer at his position.
The Cavs are in the throws of a six-game road trip, facing the Clippers Friday, followed by the Lakers, Suns, Blazers, and Bulls next week.
