Pittsburgh Steelers Passing Offense

The pricing is based on Landry Jones being the quarterback, while the production is (potentially!) based on Ben Roethlisberger. That's tasty.

Now, Roethlisberger isn't a lock to play, but he is practicing in full, and all signs point to him suiting up in Week 8. If he can't go, then this is probably not the best avenue. If he does, though, it's hard not to.

Roethlisberger sits atop the standings in Passing NEP per drop back of the 34 quarterbacks who have at least 90 drop backs. His 0.56 mark well outpaces those of Jones (0.10) and Michael Vick (-0.26). That'll come in mighty handy with his skill-position players, especially in a decent matchup.

The Steelers are facing off against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that hasn't had quite the oomf it had last year. They are currently sitting 16th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play after finishing fifth one year ago. This game has shootout written all over it.

The biggest benefactor of competent quarterback play will obviously be Antonio Brown. He showed again last week what he can do when given a chance, turning 6 receptions into 124 yards. He sits eighth in Reception NEP per target of the 48 receivers with at least 35 targets. When you're dealing with back-ups for three weeks, that's a great mark. At only $8,400 on FanDuel and $7,800 on DraftKings, it's not a bad time to reinvest in Brown.

Although Martavis Bryant didn't see the same down-tick as Brown in Roethlisberger's absence, his stock still sees an increase. He has seen 33.33 percent of the team's targets in the two games in which he has been active this year. If the team passes more, Bryant isn't likely to maintain his market share as Brown will likely get extra looks. However, the increased volume would likely mean that Bryant's eight targets per game would be a floor expectation, and that's not too shabby.

Additionally, Bryant -- like the rest of the offense -- benefits from increased efficiency. More efficient offenses score more touchdowns. You can bet this team's efficiency will go up with Roethlisberger at the helm, and the amount of time Bryant and the crew spend in the red zone will increase right along with that. Give me shares of both of these guys before pricing catches up.
