Tyler Eifert

FanDuel Price:$6,000

As the second option in the high-octane Bengals offense, Tyler Eifert's breakout season has come in 2015 after missing out on the entire 2014 season, and boy has he been on fire. Eifert currently is tied for the league lead in touchdowns with 6 and ranks third among tight ends with 15 total targets inside the 20-yard line this season. The analytics back up Eiferts effectiveness this season too, as he is the third most efficient tight end among players at the position with at least 20 targets on the season, registering a 0.91 Reception NEP per target, higher than Rob Gronkowski.

In Week 8, Eifert draws a juicy matchup against the Bengals' AFC North division rivals in the Pittsburgh Steelers. The game sports the third highest over/under of the week at 48.5 points, with Cincinnati's implied point total sitting at 24.5 points. The Steelers have been pretty abysmal against pass-catching tight ends this season, with Gronkowski and Antonio Gates combining for five touchdowns against their 15th-ranked passing defense this season, resulting in the team surrendering the third-most points per game to tight ends on average.

The Steelers aren't very good against wide receivers either, so it wouldn't be surprising to see a big day out of A.J. Green too. But with a high implied point total and a stout Steelers rushing defense that should gravitate the Bengals' offensive efforts more toward the pass, both Green and Eifert can have big games simultaneously. As such, Eifert, who's scored fewer than 11 FanDuel points only twice this season, makes for a nice cash game and tournament selection at a notoriously fickle position.
