Let's break down the LEC slate for Friday, June 12th, and see who stands out.
The Slate
It's a five-game slate for the LEC's return, and the LEC format features a single game played in each series, so there are no win bonuses for ending a series early.
The table below shows a team's adjusted net kills (per game), their adjusted net tower differential, and their projected win odds, based on simulations I run. The raw data comes from Oracle's Elixir and references the spring split.

ADC
Rekkles (Fnatic, $9,800) - Rekkles comes at a bit of a price discount from PERKZ ($10,300) and Upset ($10,000). PERKS, to be clear, swapped roles again with Caps and is back at ADC. Fnatic's matchup with SK Gaming rates out very favorably for them, and Rekkles should be able to take advantage. Last split (excluding playoffs), he racked up 11.0 kills and assists per game. PERKZ, when he was in the ADC role in the summer split in 2019, averaged 12.2. This one is more about the expected win and cheaper tag for Rekkles
Others to Consider: PERKZ ($10,300), Hans sama ($9,600) Innaxe ($9,400)
Mid
Abbedagge (FC Schalke 04; $8,600) - No mid-laner is really in the same conversation as Caps ($9,400), but Abbedagge faces a revamped Team Vitality to kick of the LEC. Abbedagge put up solid fantasy production in the spring split, including 8.2 kills and assists per game along with a split-best creep score per game among returning mids. He'll be in lane against Milica ($8,400), who didn't make a start last split. The favored status of FC Schalke 04 points to value for Abbedagge.
Others to Consider: Caps ($9,400), Nemesis ($8,900), Larssen ($8,800)
Top
Wunder (G2 Esports; $8,700) - Sure, he's pricey, but Wunder is the best top-lane play on the slate. In the spring playoff rematch against MAD Lions, Wunder posted some strong lines (kills/deaths/assists) against Orome: 4/2/6, 8/2/6, 3/5/4, 4/5/5. Wunder is also the most active top-laner on the slate with 11.4 kills and assists per game (Bwipo is next at 9.5). I've shied away from G2 so far in the writeup, but Wunder is definitely a way to get access to them. Really, Wunder, Bwipo ($8,600), and Alphari ($8,600) are comfortably in their own tier at top lane.

Jungle
Selfmade (Fnatic, $8,500) - Just to be clear, Jankos ($8,900) rates out as the best play on the slate, regardless of position, for me, and he will most weeks. He's that productive relative to other junglers. However, Selfmade is affordable and is up against Misfits, who rate out as a subpar team and are incorporating a new AD Carry (Kobbe) into the fold. There could be some growing pains there -- and some added ganking opportunities for Selfmade.
Others to Consider: Jankos ($8,900), Xerxe ($8,700), Lurox ($8,100)
Support
Kaiser (MAD Lions; $7,400) - Kaiser actually ranks fourth among supports for me in opportunity cost, but we also don't want to be spending up too much or too often for support players unless there's a ton of value elsewhere. Kaiser, though, averaged 9.9 kills and assists per game last split, second-most of all supports (Mikyx ($8,000) had 14.0). Kaiser's average line in 11 games against G2 last split was 1.0/4.3/9.9. There's still some upside from him, and the price makes him easy to stomach.
Others to Consider: Mikyx ($8,000), Dstiny ($7,800), Hylissang ($7,700), Dreams ($7,400)
Teams
With teams, it's best to treat them as a position you don't build around or punt with. Put another way: don't force it, but don't ignore it. Kind of like defense in NFL DFS. You should target the biggest favorites you can within your salary cap.
FC Schalke ($7,400) are the cheapest of the favorites on the slate and can allow you to spend up for two mid-laners and your ADC. You can totally punt it, but for just a few hundred more, you can get a shot at a significant fantasy point total here. Also, Fnatic ($7,600) should be really appealing if you can swing it.
