Andrew Triggs holds the same appeal as his aforementioned Athletics rotation mate, Kendall Graveman, with a home jaunt against a lackluster Angels offense offering a promising opportunity for quality innings and a potential W.

There's also a chance that Triggs offers a tinge more upside than his teammate. The 28-year-old righty boasted an unremarkable 4.31 ERA across a 56-plus-inning sample last year in his first taste of big-league work, but the lackluster surface results masked a strong 3.29 xFIP and unlucky 64.6 percent left-on-base rate that should correct if Triggs can continue to limit hard contact and generate ground balls.

The potential for Oakland to repeat as a league-worst defense could very well mean that Triggs is bound to under-perform his peripherals to some extent. That said, the promising righty did flash a 10.2 percent swinging-strike rate in the limited sample last year, so there's a chance that he might have enough dominance in his arsenal to overcome his team context and remain a popular streamer candidate for the bulk of the season, with the chance to emerge as an outright hold in deeper leagues.
