While his production has dipped this season, John Jaso has still been making some solid contact. He has a 35.4% hard-hit rate and 43.1% fly-ball rate against right-handed pitching.

His recent contact numbers have been especially impressive. He ranks among the top 15 in average exit velocity among hitters with at least 10 batted balls over the past 15 days.

Atlanta Braves righty Julio Teheran has had a poor start to the year, posting a shaky 5.28 SIERA. He has been especially bad against left-handed sticks, with an abysmal 7.13 xFIP, making this a good spot for Jaso to turn those contact numbers into production.
