Rajai Davis, OF, Oakland Athletics

With the Athletics going up against lefty Jordan Montgomery, there's a good chance Rajai Davis draws the start out of the leadoff spot. And while it always benefits us to target leadoff men for those extra plate appearances, Davis looks to be one to skip over.

Strictly as a hitter, Davis has little to offer, with a .259 wOBA and 25.0% hard-hit rate. He has just 2 homers and a .110 isolated power (ISO).

Any upside comes from his speed, which he can still bust out at age 36 (nine stolen bases). The trouble is that Montgomery has only allowed one swiped bag in 11 starts, making Davis unlikely to tap into that well tonight.

The Athletics also have one of the lower implied team totals on the day (4.18). Despite a relatively affordable price in a prime hitting slot, Davis doesn't move the needle.
