3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/6/18

Mike Trout has finished with a wOBA north of .400 in each of his last six seasons, and he posted career-highs in both wOBA (.437) and ISO (.323) in 2017. Those marks positioned him first in wOBA and fourth in ISO among qualifying hitters.

He has continued to hit the ball incredibly well over a small seven-game sample to open the 2018 season, boasting a 57.7% hard-hit rate and 50.0% fly-ball rate.

Tonight's matchup isn't likely to slow him down any either, taking on Oakland Athletics' righty Daniel Gossett. Gossett posted an ugly 4.76 SIERA over 18 games in his 2017 rookie campaign, and those struggles weren't very shocking when you consider the 4.06 xFIP he had posted in 14 Triple-A starts. He has allowed a .383 wOBA on a 36.7% hard-hit rate to right-handed hitters in his major league career, and he's likely to have a really hard time with Trout.
