Zack Godley, Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks' Zack Godley has been god-like so far this season as he's carried over an under-the-radar 2017 campaign into early-2018.

He has just two starts under his belt thus far, but what a two-start beginning it has been. In 14 innings, he's struck out 12 and walked 1, and he's given up just one earned run in those two outings, good for a 0.64 ERA, 1.53 FIP and 2.46 xFIP. In his last outing, the stuff -- especially his slider -- was nasty.

Last year, Godley was worth 3.5 fWAR, having gone 8-9 with a 3.37 ERA and 3.41 FIP in 155 innings. He struck out 9.58 batters and walked 3.08 per nine innings -- outstanding numbers for a pitcher in his first full season as a starter.

It's just two starts, but Godley is a pitcher fantasy owners should be targeting, whether it's on the waiver wire or via trade.
