Marwin Gonzalez, 1B, Houston Astros

Another Astros' bat that gets a boost from today's high implied total against Hamels, the switch-hitting Marwin Gonzalez has more than adequate numbers against southpaws. He's better against right-handed pitching, but in 2017 he still turned in a viable .340 wOBA and .217 ISO against lefties.

Like Zimmerman, variance has been holding Gonzalez back to start the year. His 32.3% hard-hit rate is right in line with the 32.7% he posted last year as well as his 30.3% career-average. However, his BABIP is lagging way behind. It currently sits at only .207, far from his previous career-low of .250 and his career-average of .309. In fact, he hasn't finished with a mark lower than .311 in any of his last four seasons.

This lack of production keeps his price-tag down but doesn't spell any sort of decrease in his fantasy upside, which is especially high with the Astros' entire offense in a great spot at home tonight.
