Going back to the A's and that great matchup with Cashner, their 5.25 implied total is Friday's second-highest mark. Matt Joyce is projected to bat leadoff tonight, and that positions him well to get a ton of plate appearances and no shortage of cracks at Cashner.

Joyce is no stranger to beating up on right-handed pitching either, with a 36.0% hard-hit rate to open 2018, and a .353 wOBA and .242 ISO in 549 plate appearances since the start of the 2017 season. He's a prime cash-game target if he's in the leadoff spot again.
