Joc Pederson Is off to a solid start to 2018, with a .346 wOBA that is on pace to be the second-best mark of his career. He has been especially good if we look at only his work against right-handed pitching as he's got a .382 wOBA in the split, which brings his career-average to a .352 wOBA on a strong 38.0% hard-hit rate

That success makes tonight's matchup against Tyler Mahle and the Reds a good one.

Mahle has a 4.26 SIERA over his first two MLB seasons (11 games), and left-handed bats have tagged him for a .386 wOBA with a strong batted-ball profile that includes a 44.9% hard-hit rate, 10.1% soft-hit rate and 40.3% fly-ball rate.
