J.D. Martinez is up to his usual tricks in 2018, opening the season with a .429 wOBA and .275 ISO. Against right-handed pitching, his hard-hit rate sits at a ridiculous 54.6%, while his soft-hit rate is all the way down at 5.2%. He's no stranger to mashing righties either, coming off a 2017 season that saw him notch a 47.1% hard-hit rate against them.

That ridiculous contact has translated to a .411 wOBA and .344 ISO over the last two seasons, providing him with some massive upside against Toronto Blue Jays righty Aaron Sanchez.

Sanchez only managed a 5.62 SIERA over eight starts in 2017, and he hasn't been much better so far this season, with a 5.18. Despite the righty-righty matchup, this is a prime spot for Martinez to produce.
