Jedd Gyorko, 2B, St. Louis Cardinals

Jedd Gyorko produces decent overall numbers, with a wOBA of at least .330 in each of the last three seasons, but where he really shines is against southpaws. In 279 plate appearances over those last there seasons, he has racked up a .378 wOBA and .235 isolated slugging (ISO) on a 33.3% hard-hit and 39.3% fly-ball rate -- not the kind of production you usually see from a guy this cheap.

His matchup tonight isn't against a particularly scary southpaw either, as he and Cardinals take on Miami's Wei-Yin Chen.

Chen posted what was a career-worst 4.61 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2017, and he is on pace for a significantly worse mark this year, sporting a 5.40 over seven starts. He has an especially heinous 7.09 xFIP against right-handed bats, which spells trouble against Gyorko.
