With Toronto, three's company and Randal Grichuk is a part of that company. Grichuk is by far the most budget-friendly option, priced only $100 above the minimum, and that reflects the very low floor he offers.

Grichuk is not a consistent hitter. He has made 386 plate appearances against right-handed pitching over the last two seasons and has a weak .229 batting average and 31.1% strikeout rate in that stretch. And his .313 wOBA isn't especially encouraging either.

He has shown a ton of pop, though, with a 39.8% hard-hit rate and 41.1% fly-ball rate, and that has translated to a .246 ISO. As mentioned, he doesn't offer any sort of a floor, but the boom-or-bust nature of his production gives him the kind of home run upside you usually get out of a guy this cheap.
