Chicago Cubs lefty Jose Quintana is having one of the worst seasons of his career, with his 4.22 SIERA sitting as his worst mark since his 2012 rookie campaign, while his 36.9% hard-hit rate is the highest of his career. Against righties, he's allowing an especially high 40.7% hard-hit rate, leading to a 4.49 xFIP.

Those struggles are enough to put Ryan Braun firmly in play at $3,000.

Braun has struggled a bit to start the season, owning a mere .324 wOBA, but he does have a .219 ISO and solid 35.9% hard-hit rate. His wOBA jumps to .374 -- and his ISO goes up to .279 -- if we look at only his work against southpaws. He's not new to hitting well against lefties, either, having notched a .358 wOBA and .253 ISO in 2017.
