Jesse Winker has seen a drop in production between his rookie numbers in 2017 and what he has done this year. If we just look at his numbers against right-handed pitching ,though, where he does his best work, his career averages are still excellent.

He has notched a .374 wOBA and .168 ISO, and that comes with an excellent batted-ball profile, which includes a 40.4% hard-hit rate and only a 10.8% soft-hit rate.

Kansas City Royals righty Jason Hammel also makes for an excellent matchup. Hammel is on pace for his second consecutive season with a SIERA north of 4.60, and this season he has an especially egregious 5.29 xFIP against left-handed hitters.
