Jedd Gyorko's drastic platoon splits tend to keep his overall production (and thus his fantasy salary) down. That often leaves him way underpriced against southpaws.
Over the last two seasons, he has made 152 plate appearances against southpaws, and in that sample he has converted his 36.8% hard-hit rate and 39.3% fly-ball rate into a massive .419 wOBA and .284 ISO.
With numbers like that, it almost doesn't matter what lefty Gyorko is up against at this price point. However, it certainly doesn't hurt his value that it is Milwaukee's Brent Suter, a guy who is on pace to post a SIERA worse than 4.00 for his third time in three Major League seasons.
