3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 6/27/18

Between Nolan Arenado's hefty price tag and a tough matchup against Madison Bumgarner at AT&T Park, his ownership ought to be virtually nonexistent. On an ugly pitching slate, Bumgarner also figures to be a rather popular play against the road-tripping Colorado Rockies.

But while Bumgarner is coming off a strong performance against the San Diego Padres, he's still displaying a shaky 4.59 SIERA, 16.2% strikeout rate, and 43.2% hard-hit rate through four starts. One strong outing doesn't necessarily mean the Bumgarner of old is back.

Arenado's exploits at Coors Field are well known, but even if we scrap those and look at just his road work against lefties, he's still sporting a monstrous .510 wOBA and .369 ISO against them dating back to last season. AT&T Park definitely deflates some optimism, but if Arenado can come through with those numbers, you could get a double-whammy against those that choose to roster Bumgarner tonight.
