Jonathan Schoop, 2B, Baltimore Orioles

Price: $2,700

The other side of that game sees the Seattle Mariners starting southpaw Wade LeBlanc. LeBlanc has finished with a SIERA worse than 4.00 in seven of his first nine Major League seasons, and this year's 4.13 puts him on pace to do it again. He has a 4.20 xFIP while allowing a 31.0% hard-hit and 42.8% fly-ball rate against right-handed bats, and while those marks aren't egregious, they open the door for Jonathan Schoop.

Schoop has struggled to the tune of a .259 wOBA this season, but that comes with a very low .223 batting average on balls in play (BABIP). He hasn't posted a BABIP south of even .300 since 2014, and has a .295 career-average. Even with his numbers down, we can expect his production to pick up moving forward.

Over the last 2 seasons, Schoop has made 246 plate appearances against southpaws, producing a .356 wOBA and .224 ISO. A matchup with LeBlanc puts him in a good spot to bounce back closer to those levels tonight.
