Part of Dan Straily's struggles this year has been the ridiculous contact he is giving up. He has allowed a huge 48.3% hard-hit rate and a 38.5% fly-ball rate with only a 12.1% soft-hit rate.

Matt Adams has no shortage of power, and he's not someone you can afford to allow contact like that against. He has rocked righties for a 44.9% hard-hit and 43.9% fly-ball rate this season, which has translated to a .418 wOBA with a huge .326 ISO.

Our models give him the best home run projection among all hitters priced at or below $3,000 tonight. You could certainly talk yourself into an Adams/Murphy mini-stack at the catcher/first base and utility spots.
