Yonder Alonso has made terrific contact against right-handed pitching this year, with a 42.5% hard-hit, 12.7% soft-hit and 39.5% fly-ball rate. That has translated to a .349 wOBA and .186 isolated slugging (ISO) over 229 plate appearances.

Against right-handers, production like that is nothing new for him either, with a .369 wOBA and .218 ISO against them over the last two seasons.

His matchup today is a good one, as Cleveland has the day's third-highest implied total (5.12) as they take on Oakland Athletics righty Paul Blackburn. Blackburn has a 4.88 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over 15 Major League games, with a 4.71 xFIP against left-handed bats.
