Jeremy Hellickson, Washington Nationals

Starts: July 10th at Pittsburgh Pirates, July 15th at New York Mets
ESPN ownership: 15.8%

If you're in a cutthroat streamer league that gobbles up two-start pitchers, Jeremy Hellickson makes for a decent backup bid, particularly since he's unlikely to warrant much consideration.

That's because the Washington Nationals' righty just got bum-rushed for eight earned runs in four innings by the normally docile Miami Marlins. To be fair, Hellickson carried a terrific 1.93 ERA and 3.02 FIP in his 32.2 innings leading up to the Miami debacle, with a quite flashy 20.0% strikeout-minus-walk rate to boot.

Assuming the Marlins start was the long arm of regression bearing down on Hellickson in one fell swoop, the journeyman righty makes for a smart contrarian play in Week 15 as he squares off against middling Pirates and Mets squads, both below-average in terms of OPS against right handers over the last 30 days.
