Fantasy Baseball: 5 Buy-Low Options for Season-Long Leagues

In June, Joc Pederson enjoyed one of the best single months of any hitter this season, and he's quietly gotten back to being a guy we want in our lineup against righties.

Last month, Pederson racked up a massive .492 wOBA with a gaudy 60.8% hard-hit rate and 64.7% fly-ball rate. That brings his overall season numbers to a .358 wOBA with a 41.8% hard-hit rate, 46.6% fly-ball rate and 13 jacks in 265 plate appearances.

The season-ending injury to Corey Seager, in a roundabout way, opened up regular playing time for Pederson against righties, by forcing Chris Taylor to move from outfield to shortstop. And Pederson has been spending a lot of time in the leadoff spot against righties, further boosting his value.

Pederson rarely plays against lefties, which dings his value in leagues that don't allow daily lineup changes, but in daily formats, Pederson is extremely valuable as a guy you can move in and out of the lineup based on the handedness of the pitcher his team is facing.

Owned in just 24% of ESPN formats, Pederson may be free in your league, but even if he's not on the wire, his owner may not realize how good the Los Angeles Dodgers' outfielder has been.
