Another boom-or-bust option, Joey Gallo's strikeout-happy ways leave him with a brutal floor, but his ceiling remains elite for bats in this price range.

Among the 330 hitters with at least 100 batted balls on the year, Gallo ranks seventh in average exit velocity and second in average batted-ball distance.

He doesn't make contact often, with a brutal 18.1% swinging-strike rate, but when he does, it's with a ton of power, and that has earned him a .275 ISO on the year, bringing his career average to .289 since 2015.

The Texas Rangers' offense is also in a terrific spot tonight, boasting a slate-high 6.40 implied total against Baltimore Orioles righty David Hess, who carries an ugly 5.59 SIERA over 11 MLB starts.
