Even in a matchup with Cleveland's Mike Clevinger, there's still plenty of room for optimism with Mike Trout on Friday.

Clevinger's 3.98 SIERA is a solid mark, but like DeSclafani, he's allowing some solid contact, giving up a career-high 35.8% hard-hit rate to go with a career-low 16.9% soft-hit rate.

All but the worst righty-versus-righty matchups leave Trout in play, as well, as he ranks third among qualifying hitters in wOBA (.444) and fourth in ISO (.323) against righties. Even in the tough matchup, he offers no shortage of upside here.
