Reports of persistent shoulder tendinitis will make Marcell Ozuna an unpopular play for the balance of the season, but this might be an unwise call for daily players. Ozuna's results over the last month (.230/.284/.340) seem to confirm his injury-addled state, but under the hood, Ozuna is still stroking 38.2% hard contact with a slim 11.0% strikeout rate.

The beleaguered St. Louis Cardinals' slugger looks like a shrewd against-the-grain play this week as he squares off against the scrub-filled pitching staffs of the Marlins and Royals. Daily players don't have much to lose here as Ozuna's poor production and constant appearances on the injury report have his FanDuel salary flatlining in the low $3,000s.
