After producing very middling numbers from the plate over the start of his career, Daniel Descalso started to turn things around in 2017, establishing career-best marks in both hard-hit rate (37.0%) and fly-ball rate (43.2%). He has continued to build on that in 2018, posting a 41.2% hard-hit rate and 45.9% fly-ball rate, which has translated to a .363 wOBA and .207 ISO -- both career highs by a big margin.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have Monday's second-highest implied total (5.33), making them on offense to target as they take on Texas Rangers righty Bartolo Colon.

Colon has been a favorable fantasy matchup for a few years now, and 2018 has seen him allow a big 43.0% hard-hit rate, which is the highest of his 16-year MLB career.
