Niko Goodrum, 2B, Detroit Tigers

The switch-hitting Niko Goodrum hasn't turned in an especially consistent season, with a shaky .314 wOBA and 27.2% strikeout rate, but he has flashed a promising combination of speed and power. Over 356 plate appearances, he has posted a .199 ISO on a 38.5% hard-hit and 35.8% fly-ball rate, while also adding 9 stolen bases.

His matchup today is about as good as you could ask for, taking on Chicago White Sox righty Lucas Giolito and his egregious 5.71 SIERA (which brings his career average to 5.47).

Goodrum may be a risky play, but his upside is huge for this low price range.
