Despite what many could argue was an absurd demotion to the minors this year, Jon Gray has been pretty solid, and he's been particularly tough on right-handed bats. This year, Gray has limited righties to a .289 weighted on-base average (wOBA), including a 24.5% strikeout rate and 24.9% fly-ball rate.

With all of the stars aligning this way, Tyler Flowers is one we need to avoid. Flowers has only hit .165 against righties this season, along with an .063 isolated power (ISO) mark.

Flowers has been solid behind the dish in 2018, but Thursday is a spot to look elsewhere at the catcher slot.
