Eduardo Nunez, 3B, Boston Red Sox

Price: $2,200

In all likelihood, 2018 will go down as a year Eduardo Nunez would like to forget -- at least personally. While the Boston Red Sox are racing away from the rest of the pack in the American League, Nunez has slumped his way to a .282 wOBA, on pace to be the lowest mark of his Major League career.

Despite those struggles, Nunez has continued to perform better against right-handers (six homers and five stolen bases), and he will face righty Shane Bieber of the Cleveland Indians. Debuting in the big leagues this season, the starter has acquitted himself well with a 3.59 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over 68 innings. Bieber has given up a lot of hard contact (42.2% hard-hit rate), though, and he's been around league average with a 35.1% fly-ball rate.

For a very cheap third base option, Nunez gives you the flexibility to roster a pitcher like Blake Snell or Masahiro Tanaka. And the upside that comes with hitting in a high-octane offense keeps him in play as a low-priced tournament option.
