Adrian Beltre, 3B, Texas Rangers

Price: $2,900

On the other side of that game, the Rangers' 5.77 implied total is the night's highest as the Twins send Stephen Gonsalves to the mound.

Gonsalves has only made two Major League starts, and they both went very poorly. He was yanked after only 1 1/3 innings in his first outing, giving up 4 earned runs against the Chicago White Sox. He made it five innings his next time out, but again gave up four earned runs, while walking four and only striking out two. Considering he only managed a 4.42 xFIP in 18 Triple-A starts this year, these struggles aren't exactly surprising either.

Adrian Beltre, who made his Major League debut when Gonsalves was only four years old, has finally shown some steep decline in his offense this season. His 21.1% strikeout rate is a career-high, his .311 wOBA is his worst since 2009, and his .111 ISO is a career-worst, as well. Despite those struggles, he continues to offer some interesting upside when the matchup is right.

He still boasts a terrific 43.2% hard-hit rate with a 16.2% soft-hit rate against southpaws, and with Gonsalves' struggles and the Rangers' high implied total, Beltre's ceiling is very solid relative to his price tag.
