Felix Hernandez will take the mound for Seattle tonight, making this a good spot to target the Oakland Athletics' offense.

Hernandez' 4.61 SIERA is on pace to be the second-worst of his career (better than only his 4.61 from 2016), while his 18.2% strikeout rate is a career-low and the 38.4% hard-hit rate he is allowing is a career-high by a big margin. His previous highest mark was 32.3%, and that hard contact even comes on a career-high 33.5% fly-ball rate.

Hard-hit fly-balls are also kind of Khris Davis' forte. He ranks 11th in average batted-ball distance among the 413 hitters with at least 50 batted balls against righties, as well as 17th in average exit velocity.

This power has translated to a .316 ISO against right-handed pitching on the year, and Davis offers big upside here.
