That may be a lie. The team has just been jackin' 'em out left and right ever since Miguel Cabrera's injury. Either way, this team has been rolling in DFS points this year.

I'll admit that I didn't think the Tigers would rank so well on this list. I figured that this is where the park-factor wunderkinds in Colorado and Arizona would slide. In retrospect, though, I should have seen it coming.

The Tigers are the only team in all of baseball that rank within the top three in wOBA against both left-handed and right-handed pitchers. They are also tied with the Blue Jays and the Dodgers for the highest team wRC+ in the league at 113. That, shockingly, is a formula for racking up the points we so greatly desire.

Additionally, the Tigers have a pretty cool combination from the top to the bottom of their order: almost every guy on the team has either power or speed. Those should be the two most sought-after assets in daily fantasy. You've got the pop from J.D. Martinez, Yoenis Cespedes and Victor Martinez. Then you see the speed of Rajai Davis, Anthony Gose and Jose Iglesias. With their stolen base abilities and a park highly conducive to triples, they have the abilities to accumulate huge point totals even with their lackluster power.

If you can assemble a stack filled with guys with either speed or power, you're going to set yourself up for big nights. The Tigers bring that, and you won't see a drop-off against the platoon once the opponent goes to the bullpen. What's not to love?
