Justin Upton, OF, Detroit Tigers

FanDuel Price: $2,900

I already touched on the reasons for targeting Tigers hitters tonight, given James Shields' recent struggles, and Justin Upton is another batter who could benefit.

Shields isn't a guy whose production changes much based on a hitter's handedness. He has allowed an identical .317 career wOBA to both left- and right-handed hitters, and Upton has found success in his career against same-handed pitchers.

Upton has really struggled this season, but with a 34.3 percent hard-hit rate -- which lines up with his career average -- and a 44.1 percent fly-ball rate that is higher than his career average, we can expect his home run numbers to climb a bit. His 6.3 percent home run to fly-ball ratio is well below his career average of 14.6.

He has a career .269/.339/.457 slash with a .346 wOBA and .188 isolated slugging against right-handed pitchers, and with Detroit's offense being in such a good spot tonight, Upton offers solid value.
