Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Clayton Kershaw ($11,700 on FanDuel): A shoulder issue entering the season scared many season-long drafters away from Clayton Kershaw back in March, and many feared a sharp decline could be in store for 2019. Yet, here we are in September, and Kershaw's produced yet another strong campaign, sporting a 3.70 SIERA, 27.1% strikeout rate, and 5.4% walk rate over 24 starts. Many of those punchouts have come in the second half, too, where Kershaw he upped his rate to a stellar 33.9%. Despite a misstep against the Diamondbacks in his last start, he shouldn't have a problem handling the Giants at home, who have a mere 3.21 implied total.
