4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 6/6/16

Stacking can be a controversial topic in many daily fantasy sports, but you can count baseball as a glaring exception. Here, it's universal.

Using multiple players on the same team on a given day presents you with the opportunity to double dip. If one of your players hits an RBI double, there's a good chance he drove in another one of your guys. When you get the points for both the run and the RBI, you'll be climbing the leaderboards fast.

Chicago Cubs

Rejoice and be glad, my stacking brethren and sistren. For the first time in what seems like a decade, the Chicago Cubs are cheap enough to stack in a drool-worthy matchup. If there has ever been better proof that the pricing czars love you and want you to be happy, I haven't seen it.

Not only do the Cubs get a big-time park-factor boost, but they're also squaring off with a pitcher in Adam Morgan who is having a tough season. His SIERA is chilling up at 4.82 with a 15.0% strikeout rate, and his ground-ball rate is down at 36.1%. When you're facing an offense this ill in a park this dinger-friendly, a bad moon will be a-rising' real quick.

Our main focuses for a road team playing at Citizens Bank Park should be players who live and die by the fly ball. By this criteria, Kris Bryant has quintuple-dong upside and is likely the top play of the day, and Jorge Soler and Anthony Rizzo should also be on our lists. Rizzo doesn't have the platoon advantage, but that could allow you to snag him at lower ownership. His fly-ball rate was 40.5% against lefties last year, and it's up to 46.2% this year, so if you're looking to potentially differentiate with your Cubs stack, Rizzo may be the way to go.
