Athletics' Luis Barrera out of Thursday lineup
Oakland Athletics outfielder Luis Barrera is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against left-hander Konnor Pilkington and the Cleveland Guardians.
Ramon Laureano is returning to right field in place of Barrera and hitting second while Cristian Pache fills the void in the lineup to play center field and bat ninth. Elvis Andrus is hitting sixth against the Guardinas' southpaw.
