Robbie Grossman resting Wednesday afternoon for Tigers
Detroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Vince Velasquez and the Chicago White Sox.
Grossman started the last three games and went 2-for-11 with four strikeouts. Austin Meadows is moving to left field in place of Grossman while Miguel Cabrera returns to the lineup to bat third as the Tigers' designated hitter.
Meadows is currently numberFire's fifth-best point-per-dollar value among hitters on the All Day slate and third-best on the Very Early Only slate. He has a $2,400 salary and our models project him for 12.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, Velasquez has the second-lowest ground ball/fly ball ratio this season (.573) out of Wednesday's listed starters.
