Bryce Harper (thumb) back Friday for Phillies
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (thumb) is in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Bryse Wilson and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Phillies reinstated Harper from the 60-day injured list on Friday after he missed time with a thumb fracture. Harper will take over as the designated hitter and cleanup man in Friday's contest. Nick Castellanos will be in right field and hit sixth while Matt Vierling starts in center over an idle Bradley Zimmer.
Harper has a $4,000 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 14.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Phillies’ implied total (5.51) is the highest out of the 30 active teams today.
