Alek Manoah kicking things off for Blue Jays
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah has been named the Opening Day starter against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Blue Jays are rolling with Manoah over Kevin Gausman. The 25-year-old right-hander finished third in AL Cy Young voting last season after recording a 2.24 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with a 22.9% strikeout rate.
