Tigers' Zach McKinstry sitting Thursday
Detroit Tigers infielder Zach McKinstry is not in the starting lineup versus left-hander Chris Sale and the Boston Red Sox in Thursday afternoon's series opener.
The left-handed hitting McKinstry will sit versus the Red Sox's southpaw. Ryan Kreidler will move to second base while Javier Baez will return to shortstop and bat second. Riley Greene will bat third and Spencer Torkelson will handle cleanup duty for Detroit.
numberFire’s models project Baez ($2,700) for 11.0 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers' implied total (3.51) is the second-lowest on the board and the game total (7.5) is the lowest out of six games today.
