Reds' Hunter Greene (shin) exits Monday contest; Buck Farmer to take the mound
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene (shin) left Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays in the third inning.
Greene took a comebacker to the shin off the bat of Yandy Diaz, and was pulled from the game at the end of the third inning. Buck Farmer will fill in for Greene starting at the top of the fourth.
Greene scattered three hits across his three innings on the mound, but did not surrender any runs to the Rays' electric offense. Hopefully the second-year starter was able to avoid suffering a serious injury.
