Travis Jankowski sitting again Monday for Rangers
Texas Rangers outfielder Travis Jankowski is not in the starting lineup again versus left-hander Nick Lodolo and the Cincinnati Reds in Monday's series opener.
The left-handed hitting Jankowski will remain out of the order versus a southpaw for a second straight game. Brad Miller and Josh Smith will also be idle again. Bubba Thompson will cover left field and Ezequiel Duran will fill in at shortstop again. Adolis Garcia will be the Rangers' designated hitter in Monday's opener.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Rangers' implied total is 4.33 and the game total is 8.5 on Monday. Lodolo has a 3.30 SIERA and a sizzling 29.8% strikeout rate across 21 2/3 innings in four starts. Our models project Duran ($2,100) for 9.3 FanDuel points on Monday.
