Astros place Jose Urquidy (shoulder) on 15-day injured list Monday
The Houston Astros have placed starting pitcher Jose Urquidy (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list.
Urquidy is reportedly dealing with shoulder discomfort, and has been placed on the 15-day injured list while he recovers from his injury. The team announced that they are recalling right-handed pitcher Brandon Bielak in a corresponding move.
Urquidy is still finding his stride this year, with a 5.20 ERA in his 27.7 innings pitched. He has a 1.55 WHIP and a 23/10 K/BB ratio to go with his 2-2 record as the calendar rolls over into May.
