Kyle Farmer absent for Twins Tuesday
Minnesota Twins infielder Kyle Farmer is not in the lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Bryce Elder and the Atlanta Braves.
Farmer will take a seat after going 0-for-6 with 4 strikeouts in the last two games. Royce Lewis will replace Farmer on third base and bat sixth. Edouard Julien will be on second base.
numberFire’s models project Lewis ($3,000) for 10.3 and Julien ($2,700) for 9.8 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.10 and the game total is 9.0. Elder has a 2.40 ERA in front of a 3.77 xERA this season, with a 10.8% swinging-strike rate, 43.0% hard-hit rate, and 20.8% strikeout rate, so that first number may be a bit misleading.
