Edouard Julien joining Twins bench Wednesday afternoon
Minnesota Twins infielder Edouard Julien is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Kolby Allard and the Atlanta Braves.
The left-handed hitting Julien will sit versus the Braves' southpaw. Donovan Solano will take over on second base and in the leadoff role. Byron Buxton will bat second and Royce Lewis will hit third.
Solano has a $5,500 salary on Wednesday's early single-game slate and numberFire’s models project him for 10.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.50 and the game total is a batter-friendly 10.0. Allard will be making his season debut for the Braves after being activated off the injured list. He had a 2.70 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, with 8 strikeouts and 2 walks, in 6 2/3 innings across two rehab starts.
