Marlins' Jonathan Davis in center field again Monday
Miami Marlins outfielder Jonathan Davis will start in center field again and hit ninth in Monday's series opener against right-hander Miles Mikolas and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Davis will make a second consecutive start after he went 1-for-4 with 2 runs scored, an RBI, and a strikeout on Sunday. He should see consistent playing while Jazz Chisholm Jr. (oblique) is on the injured list.
numberFire’s models project Davis ($2,500) for 6.8 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins' implied total is 4.17 and the game total is 8.0. Mikolas has a 4.44 ERA and 5.25 xERA this season, with a 40.9% hard-hit rate, 16.1% strikeout rate, and 5.1% walk rate (92nd percentile in the majors).
