Boston Red Sox infielder David Hamilton has been optioned to Triple-A.
What It Means:
Hamilton will move to Triple-A with Yu Chang being activated from the injured list. Chang will return to the lineup at shortstop for Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics. Chang will bat ninth versus left-hander Sam Long and Oakland.
