Domingo German scratched Monday for Yankees
New York Yankees pitcher Domingo German has been scratched from Monday's scheduled start against the Tampa Bay Rays.
What It Means:
German was reportedly scratched for a "physical issue" and Jhony Brito is expected to start in his place. The Yankees figure to update German's status before Monday's matchup with the Rays. Brito was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday and Ron Marinaccio was optioned down in a corresponding move.
German is averaging 27.9 FanDuel points across 19 starts this season with a 4.20 xERA and 25.8% strikeout rate. numberFire's models project Brito for 28.4 FanDuel points on Monday and he has a $7,600 salary.
